School History:
Northview Elementary School’s doors first opened in 1952. The south side of the building was added in 1957 and several rooms were added in 1983. The building was completely retrofitted in 1994 with new windows for energy efficiency, new air conditioning and heating systems, and upgraded electrical standards.

Technology renovations were made to permit classroom computers to be networked. In addition, Internet access and a wireless infrastructure were added to support a mobile lab of 31 laptops, two netbook mobile labs, a small lab of iPad minis, and interactive boards and document cameras in classrooms.
